According to "the Plan of priority actions in the sphere of humanitarian cooperation of CIS states-participants for 2009-2010", in connection with the announcement of 2010 year -the International year of youth by the United Nations and within the frames of marked The year of Ecology in Azerbaijan, the Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan is organising the International Scientifically-Practical conference "Youth for ecological progress".
International Scientifically- Practical Conference: "Youth for Ecological Progress" will be held on 11-12th of November 2010 in Baku, Azerbaijan.

The purposes and tasks of the conference:.
1. To stimulate innovative thinking and youth participation - young scholars, experts, businessmen, representatives of public organizations, mass media - not only in the resolution of nature-conservation issues, but also in the construction of innovative economy, which could consider ecological challenges of new century;
2. To encourage the realization of the right of sustainable development and healthy environment with the adherence to economical and social interests.
